The stadium could certainly use some upgrades, but it is definitely comfortable enough to see a game in 2018.

This is for the swap meet. Used to love coming here as a kid, over the years what used to be hand made items have now become cheap products from overseas. Don't bother walking all the way around. In a small section you can see all that is offered now. There's still a few that have stuck to Hawaiian own, mostly the food vendors though that btw are awesome.

Went to the Aloha Bowl here on Christmas Eve. Ultimately, this is a run down stadium that's too large for its purpose. However, the colors of the seats are beautiful and the lack of crowds allowed me to walk down to some really good seats.

I did not actually attend the stadium, but rather the swap meet in it's parking lot. The swap meet was full of neat trinkets, art, and food. There were a few chains with repetitive booths, which was disappointing, but many booths were locally owned and operated. Art ranged from Oriental fans to hand carved statues. Food-wise, there were many fresh fruits, unique taffy, and nuts.overall, the swap meet was fun and I only deduct a star because the booths' contents get repetitive as you progress though the event.

Did some Christmas shopping here during the swap meet with my significant other. We found lots of stuff for our families but after a while it all looked like they were selling the same thing. But if you've never been, I'd recommend at least walking a lap around and finding something you like. They do some handmade crafting at the swap meet and it was fun enjoying them make different knick-knacks.

It is a great place to get inexpensive Hawaiian and surrounding islands souvenirs. There is a mix of imported and Hawaiian made wares as well as inexpensive tours. The vendors are nice and are not pushy at all. Plan to spend at least half a day to see all of the vendors. Parking is free.
