I'am vendor at the Aloha stadium swap meet in Honolulu Hawaii, Centerplate runs the market there and has no consideration for vendors or the tourist that visit the stadium three days a week. On the days when the swap meet is supposed to be in operation the management of Centerplate closes the swap meet and neglects to let the public know. Many people drive to shop at the legendary swap meet on the day when a University of Hawaii game is being played, only to find out the place is closed. In the past the swap meet was opened on game days and closed early for traffic to filter out and to prepare for the flow of traffic coming in for the game. This move has made it tough on the vendors since many rely on the income from those three days a month at the swap meet. If this is to continue than Centerplate needs to make the public aware that the swap meet will not open on game days. This company is poorly managed and should not be running (ruining) what has been a place that has been a focal point for so many tourist who come to Hawaii to shop for items that can only be found at the aloha stadium swap meet. Read many of the reviews and you can see what I mean. This place can be so much better and bring in a profit that would be greater than many of the places people visit on their trip to Hawaii.
