Great shop with great service. Prices are high, but very competitive for Hawaii. Plus, you can get really great deals on previous year models if they have one in your size still! Love the staff here, always willing to answer your question and to help you get the best fit possible.
Took my bike here shortly after moving to the island for a tune up. The reviews sounded promising, however this business has terrible customer service. I dropped off my bike and was told it would be ready the following week. After not hearing back from the shop for 7 days, I called to check on the status of my bike. A note had been made that there was an issue with the fork. I was able to speak with the employee who worked on the bike and said the problem was found several days earlier, although I never received a phone call from the shop about a problem with the bike. I was told that these issue with the fork was at this point a safety concern and that the only solution would be for me to provide a proof purchase for the bike and that they would give me a discount on a new Specialized frame and fork. At this point 7 days later no services had been done on my bike. I picked it up the same day and took it to a different shop that was recommended to me. This second shop was able to do the services for me and did not find the same "safety concerns". A entire new frame and fork was not required. Unfortunately, I think this shop was just trying to take advantage of the customer and the situation. I would not recommend doing business here.
They took care of me so quickly and are so friendly. Definitely will be going back!
This has been my favorite bike shop for the past 5 years. Their staff is knowledgeable and they deliver on time. I have spent several thousand dollars at the shop in the past years. This is the first time I have brought a bike in this year. I needed to get the brakes and gears adjusted on my Kuo bike. The tune up price has gone from $35.00 to $50.00. I agreed (Inflation). The night before my bike was due I received a call that the brake pads and the derailleur cable needed to be changed. I said yes. When I went to pick up my bike today my $50 tune-up had grown to 117.00. The brake pads anywhere else are 9.99 - 11.99 were $17.00. Although I had paid for a brake adjustment in the tune up there was an additional $16 charge to screw in the new pads. Literally one screw. (who got screwed there?) These are basic pads not road bike quality. To install the new derailleur cable was an additional $20 + parts. They have also gone from a 10% military discount to a 5%. I will not use them anymore because they have no qualms double charging their customers. When I mentioned it to the clerk the bike builder chimed in that this has been their policy since 2013. This is NOT the case I have been shopping there since 2011 and have never been double charged. They must be under new management and will hopefully survive without my business or referrals.
These guys dont screw around! Their service is quick and professional. You won't be disappointed! Thanks Mike for getting me in an out in a flash!
